New Patients Welcome – Waiting List Registration Now Open
Berlin, 16 October 2026 – The new Schapen Family Medicine Practice at Kolpingstraße 5 is scheduled to open its doors in early November. This will provide Schapen with a new local point of contact for primary healthcare. Patients can already register on the waiting list and will be notified as soon as appointment booking becomes available.
With Simone Kappenberg, an experienced physician has already been confirmed to provide primary care at the new practice. Together with the practice team, she will care for patients from Schapen and the surrounding area.

A New Outlook for Primary Healthcare in Schapen
The opening of the new practice follows an extended search for a sustainable solution to primary healthcare provision in Schapen. For several years, the municipality of Schapen, together with the joint municipality of Spelle and other stakeholders, has been working intensively to find a way to secure long-term access to local primary healthcare services.
LillianCare was ultimately selected as a partner whose healthcare delivery model focuses on establishing modern primary care structures, particularly in regions facing significant healthcare provision challenges.
The new practice will be located in the former Sparkasse bank premises at Kolpingstraße 5. The premises are currently being renovated and adapted to meet the requirements of a modern primary care practice.

The new practice will offer a comprehensive range of modern primary healthcare services. These include the treatment of acute and chronic conditions, preventive health examinations, vaccinations and diagnostic procedures.

This allows patients, for example, to handle administrative matters digitally. Video consultations may also be offered as an additional option for suitable medical concerns.
