Daniel Hefel: Bringing Experience and Expertise to LillianCare
Daniel Hefel brings 19 years of healthcare leadership experience, having successfully developed and managed large networks of medical practices, including general and specialist care. Known for building organizations that value employees as partners, Hefel combines strategic vision with operational expertise. His role will be pivotal in establishing hundreds of LillianCare partner practices and achieving the company’s ambitious growth goals.
At Medicover, Hefel built one of Germany’s largest networks of medical practices, encompassing over 100 locations offering general and specialist care. As CEO of medneo, an international radiology network with around 20 locations, he led the company through significant growth and process optimization, steering it toward profitability. His achievements include standardizing workflows across 20 SYNLAB sites in southern Germany and positioning the medical technology company Cepheid as a leader in premium hospital diagnostics.

Markus Liesmann, Co-Founder and former COO, has been instrumental in LillianCare’s success. He established the first partner practices, recruited high-performing teams, and developed essential operational processes. For personal reasons, he stepped down as COO and Managing Director a few weeks ago.
