Speicher, September 11, 2026 – The new Speicher Family Practice will open at Schulstraße 6 on October 1, 2026, providing Speicher with a new local point of contact for primary care.
The practice team includes Karina Anton, a specialist in general medicine, Nicole Rowolt, Physician Assistant (PA), as well as medical assistants. Together, they provide medical care for patients from Speicher and the surrounding area.
“I am very much looking forward to providing primary care for the people of Speicher and the surrounding area. It is important to me that patients have a reliable local point of contact where they receive personal, continuous and well-coordinated care,” says Karina Anton.
Primary Care Right Here in Speicher
The new practice offers the full range of modern primary care services. In addition to the treatment of acute and chronic conditions, these include preventive check-ups, vaccinations and diagnostic examinations such as ECG and ultrasound. The practice team works closely together. Depending on their medical needs, patients are cared for by the healthcare professional best suited to their particular concern. Close coordination within the team enables continuous and well-coordinated care.
Physician and Physician Assistant Working Closely Together
Nicole Rowolt plays a key role in the practice team as a Physician Assistant. Physician Assistants have an academic medical education and, as part of a physician-led team, perform medical tasks that can be delegated to them.
These may include, for example, taking medical histories, conducting examinations and monitoring patients’ progress. Nicole Rowolt works closely with Karina Anton. Medical diagnoses and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the treating physician.
For patients, this means that they are cared for by a medical team that works in close coordination and brings different areas of expertise together to provide the best possible care.
Personal Care On Site – Complemented by Digital Services
In-person care at the practice is complemented by digital services that can make things easier for patients by reducing travel and administrative effort.
Using the free LillianCare app, patients can, for example, manage appointments, request repeat prescriptions or referrals, share documents with the practice and keep important health information organized. Family members can also be managed through the app.
Video consultations are also available for medical concerns that do not require an in-person visit to the practice.
These digital services do not replace personal contact with the practice team but complement the primary care provided on site.
