Mannheim, 25 February 2026 – LillianCare is entering its next phase of growth and is consolidating the operational management of Lillian Care GmbH. Daniel Hefel will assume sole responsibility for leading the company as CEO.
LillianCare was founded in 2022 with the goal of developing a sustainable solution to the shortage of general practitioners in Germany. Linus Drop initiated the model with the idea of structurally integrating team-based care models, including Physician Assistants, into primary care and supporting them with proprietary digital processes.
Within the demanding regulatory environment of the German healthcare system, this model has been gradually developed over recent years and implemented across the LillianCare partner practice network. This has established the organizational, digital, and structural foundations on which the company builds today. The company would like to express its explicit gratitude to Linus Drop for his formative contribution to the development and establishment of the model.
Linus Drop will remain closely associated with LillianCare as a shareholder and member of the board. In this role, he will continue to support key strategic matters and contribute his experience to the company’s long-term development.
As the company enters its next stage of development, the focus will now be on the structured scaling of the network and the consistent execution of further growth plans. As sole CEO, Daniel Hefel will be responsible for the operational management of Lillian Care GmbH as well as the strategic advancement of the organization.
In this phase, he will in particular drive the structured expansion of the network, the development of existing and new locations, and the consistent operational management of the organization. The objective is to ensure the sustainable development of LillianCare partner practices and to systematically expand the care model in underserved regions.
